Wow, It's Been a While...

since I last posted anything, sorry for being MIA!  Have just been really busy with life and haven't had a chance to do much crafting, but I did want to show you this cute challenge that I took on.  Misfit Crafter was having a challenge with altering a bag for her daughters birthday coming up.  She got these bags at a goodwill and wanted to use them somehow for the Birthday party, so she was so kind to send us all one and we had to alter it and make sure to cover up the name on the bag.  Her theme was Hello Kitty, which I LOVE by the way, so this is what I came up with.  I do not have a "cricut" or any other cutting machine besides a cuttlebug, so I couldn't cut anything out, but I did it the ol'fashion way and printed out a Hello Kitty pic and cut it out myself.  I did a little paper piecing on her dress and added some embellishments.  The other side of the bag is made with some really pretty shiny stickers that my daughter had, I embellished it on the side and the inside as well, with these stickers. I used black cardstock to cover the name up and a Martha Stewart edge punch.  I really like how it turned out, simple but cute and sparkly.  Thanks for looking!

I made this card for a sketch challenge in a group on cafemom and also a color challenge on House Mouse & Friends!

I am also using this card for Clearly Istamp challenge to make it fuzzy, my background paper behind the image is mulberry paper, torn around the edge. And my flower is a a fuzzy felt flower.  Also, for Crafty Catz challenge to use animals.

A Card For a Couple of Challenges!

Here is a card I made with a "Sweet N Sassy" digi image that I had colored up already.  I have used the sketch over at S2G's challenge #64.  Their twist this week was to use this sketch.  I turned the sketch around, so that it would fit this image. I also used this card for a color challenge on a cafemom group.  The other challenges I used it for was for:

Cute Card Thursday - Summary colors
Clearly Delightful - Use buttons, pearls or bling

Clearly Delightful Challenge

Wow, it's been so long since I have been able to post anything!  Finally got a chance to make a card.  This card was made using the Clearly Delightful Blog sketch.   I also used a cute image from Bugaboo Digis.  All of my cardstock & embellishments came from a swap for a group on Cafemom.

S2G Twisted Thursday Challenge #53

Happy Earth Day!! I'm so excited to be playing again as Guest DT this week for Shirley's 2 Girls!  Today is Twisted Thursday challenge and the twist is to use flowers!  I made my card with the cutest little digi stamp called "Enjoy the View"! I popped out the little birdie with pop dots!  I thought this would be a perfect image for celebrating Earth Day!   Let's all do our part and keep our planet clean and free of all the harmful things!  I try to recycle as much as I can and my household is also a toxic free green home too!  I have used "I Love Digi's" sketch #5 for this card as well!
