since I last posted anything, sorry for being MIA! Have just been really busy with life and haven't had a chance to do much crafting, but I did want to show you this cute challenge that I took on. Misfit Crafter was having a challenge with altering a bag for her daughters birthday coming up. She got these bags at a goodwill and wanted to use them somehow for the Birthday party, so she was so kind to send us all one and we had to alter it and make sure to cover up the name on the bag. Her theme was Hello Kitty, which I LOVE by the way, so this is what I came up with. I do not have a "cricut" or any other cutting machine besides a cuttlebug, so I couldn't cut anything out, but I did it the ol'fashion way and printed out a Hello Kitty pic and cut it out myself. I did a little paper piecing on her dress and added some embellishments. The other side of the bag is made with some really pretty shiny stickers that my daughter had, I embellished it on the side and the inside as well, with these stickers. I used black cardstock to cover the name up and a Martha Stewart edge punch. I really like how it turned out, simple but cute and sparkly. Thanks for looking!
